I met James from Northern Redneck Taxidermy in North Western Minnesota after a morning of duck hunting on the same slough. Over the years of hunting around the same area, James and I got to talking and he told me he does taxidermy. James showed me some of his work, and I was so impressed that the very next duck season I brought him a nice mallard to be mounted. We discussed different poses, and after getting some input from James we came up with how he was going to mount my duck. When I got the call from him that he was done with my mount, I met with him that weekend. When he took me inside to show me his final work, I was speechless! When I saw the mount for the first time it brought me back to the very moment I harvested the mallard. James from Northern Rednecks Taxidermy over exceeded[sic] my expectations. His attention to detail and knowledge of wildlife is amazing! Everyone who has seen this mount is impressed by how flawless it looks! I would highly recommend giving James a call if you are interested in having a mount done, He is a great person and extremely skilled in taxidermy.
